From a variety of Selina Mayers photographs relating to Body Image, this happens to be my favorite. This image appealed to me as the blurry effect, caused by a slow shutter speed, was placed in the center of the picture. The model being placed in the middle allows it to become an easier to detect focal point. The dominated lighting is very dark causing a mysterious effect abling the audience to be more interested in the photo, however some light is let in from above the models position. The photographer used the element 'framing' as she is able to draw the viewer in by using the draw-in-window to create a greater amount of attention on the model. The pictures uses a deep depth of field as all is in focus.

This is my favorite image captured by Yung Chen Lin. I like this piece of work as he is able to use very casual props and ideas however create an atmosphere which makes you feel empowered by the message being conveyed. The use of the technique used to erase the middle of the stem allows the audience to become more naturally engaged. The colours within this image are dominated by neutral tones and all different tones are able to clash together appealingly. This photo is able to link in to my campaign as it reveals a part of the body, also the flower could be interpreted in a way of showing confidence blossoming.

For my photo shoot I will use a model who's body will be surrounded by roses, just outlining the body-shape. This is combining some elements from the photographs from both of the artists I have researched on. This will show a sign of positiveness as roses can be linked to happiness.

In my second photosoot I plan to use a model who will have sat down, and I shall be potographing their back which will have a measuring tape against it. I will use the measuring tape on other body parts such as the models wrists and body as a whole to show insecurities about things such as weight and height.
